The Monster Within

What if a wayward seventeen-year-old boy, raised on a desolate farm, discovers he is not from Earth?...

What if a wayward seventeen-year-old boy, raised on a desolate farm, discovers he is not from Earth? That his biological father is the leader of an alien race, who transported him as an infant to live amongst the humans; having lived numerous previous lives, his only purpose: to infiltrate the Dome and deactivate its impregnable defences. What if he only realises this after falling in love?

When Wayne’s unyielding stepfather, Captain Johnson, finally yields by biting down on the barrel of a rusty shotgun, it sets in motion Wayne’s transformation to Malik; this cowardice act awakens memories of past lives and reignites the strong desire to travel to the Dome – humanity’s last outpost for the rich and powerful. Upon entering the Dome and falling in love, he realises that this particular life is worth fighting for.

Malik is torn between love – an emotion unknown to a Leon – and betraying his race – an act unforgiving and cowardly for a warrior. Time is also not on his side as the Dome is running out of power and his race’s food source is almost depleted.
